Also, some of the ways it works feels off. It works on a switch, rather than a hold system, and there’s no option to change that in the demo. My final major complaint is that the Double Gear system feels a bit clunky. It felt closer to Mega Man 8 to me, which is not what I would call a high point in the series.
I’m no stranger to knock back in Mega Man and other older games, but the knock back in this demo lasts a bit too long. It kind of just slows down the pacing of the level and was a bit of a disappointment.Īnother complaint that I have is the knock back in the Mega Man 11 Demo. It overstays its welcome a bit by putting the player through several of the same types of rooms twice. The biggest one may actually come as a surprise, but Block Man’s stage is too long. However, I do have a few complaints with the Mega Man 11 Demo. It’s jumping and shooting the same as always, with just some minor updates. My concerns about the game feeling too different from previous versions were unwarranted. I was immediately able to slip into that Mega Man groove, which was a relief. Honestly, picking up felt like revisiting an old friend. What I do want to talk about is the overall feel of the Mega Man 11 Demo.
